Wiring set-up tips for the Xray T4'20 - explained by Alexander Hagberg.
Here some more details about my specific way of wiring, which I've done to my T4'20.
The ESC receiver wire needs to be 125-130mm long for this to work properly. You have the option to pull it under the motor, in the flat spot of the center of the can on the Hobbywing G3 motor, for example. Or you can simply pull the wire on top of the motor. The sensor wire - its pulled underneath the ESC in between two strips of double sided tape. The sensor wire itself is from TQRacing and is 100 or 110mm long.
The motor wires are all TQ13, the best wire you can use for this application. As can be seen in the pictures, fitting the wires under the topdeck isn't entirely easy. But it it will lower your CG, and give the car a cleaner look. Makes sure that the wires don't push on the topdeck from underneath, as this may cause tweak. The wires must be soldered in a way where they are angled towards the center of the car.
The battery wires is the easiest part. They can easily be pulled under the topdeck to reach the poles of the battery.
A fan wire - if used, can be pulled either on top of the motor, or in the chamfer between the motor and the motor mount. Good luck!
