Burning Hot Drift Season!

Let it slide! There is something hypnotic magic in RC Drift Cars. Those loong, wide neat slides are just mesmerizing to watch and effort that folks put in realism of their cars is simply stunning. Have you tried it out yet? Well you should! 

I personally know people who were "not so much" into it and next thing tomorrow they are ordering their second Yokomo Kit and browsing our body shelves. You only need a one spark to start a fire!

Drift Furious 

Everyones favorite Tamiya has their take on budget level RC Drift Kits, too! Their epic TT-02 chassis may have a bit plastic feeling as it is but Drift Spec version TT-02D is equipped with a bunch of upgrades that take this classic kit to next level. Plastic is also much cheaper than graphite! 

Kit includes special drift-spec parts such as 24mm wide Drift Tires and stylish wheels, CVA shock units, Full Ball Bearing Set, Sport Tuned Motor etc. 

Tamiya TT-02 is very popular basic RC platform that has huge spare and hop-up part availability. There is a pretty familiar looking Toyota Supra kit available but if the body is not required, pick up the raw TT-02D Chassis Kit.

Beyond The Awesome 

For me - as boring as I am - the most appealing aspect in these cars is of course the looks! Sure the performance counts but I pay huge respect for those who put some true effort in the realism.

Sure it matters whats happening under the hood and modern drift RC's are packed full of latest technology. 

When that spark really starts to burn we recommend you to upgrade for Hobbywings Drift Spec D10 & XD10 set of electronics and never look back! Like said, almost all of my friends are Drift Crazy today - and these guys used to be pretty hardcore with their crawlers before - so I thought that I would steal few photos of them just for you!

Slick'n'Slide 

Feel the spark burning already? Do not resist! If you feel like trying Drfit RC out, we really recommend you to grab a full 4WD Ready-To-Run car kit like this HPI Sport3 Ford Mustang Fun Haver V2 and learn the basics with it. 

Remember that 4WD is more forgiving and easier to handle compared to pure breed 2WD high end drifters. I maybe brutally honest here now but you will end up to have not-so-much fun if the car doesn't suit your skill level. Remember the famous Learning Curve!
