Ready-To-Rumble! Latest RTR cars - Hobby Letter #12/22

Yo! This is Heikki from EuroRC and today we take a quick browse to some of the latest Ready-To-Run models right here from our Storage Room. We have fresh, updated cars from Traxxas, beyond-than-cool new HPI Racing drift- and touring cars and more!

Last few weeks have been super busy here at the shop. We've received literally metric tons of new stuff and our people here at warehouse have been sweating to get them in to shelves and to the shop. Remember daily to check out our New Products to grab the best of the catch! Live and let die, no?

In The Heat Of The Night

Ye Good Olde Traxxas refreshed their line of classic Ready-To-Run cars for this autumn season. At first, it may seem that these are facelifted again with just new livery but actually there is more! One of the most interesting feature is that many of their basic models are equipped with LED-lights! For us here in the dark north this is more than good news.

Now you can continue your intense bashing activities even after the sunset while having really bright, illuminating lights in the truck makes them look just so awesome in the dusk. I can't wait to see all the cool videos and photos of these trucks when the dark times rise again!

Factory installed LED-lights can be found from most new Traxxas basic level RTR-cars that are equipped with brushed XL-5 set of electronics. Included Traxxas Stability Management system helps valso to keep the wheels in the ground.

These fine trucks are Very recommended school-starter gift and make a great alternative for everyday digital entertainment!

Hot upgrade for higher-end Traxxas RTRs is the metal geared Pro Series Magnum 272R -transmission. This heavy built, low riding unit was originally developed for Drag Slash and is now included in all new brushless powered 2WD VXL-models.

Wheels of Fury

HPI Racing is starting to get their ducks in the order. Many customers love the fact that many of their legendary models and bodies are again in production but there is also some fresh stuff cruising in from our Storage Room doors.

Latest out from HPI are the beginner level yet budget friendly Michele Abbate GRRRacing TA2 Chevrolet Camaro E10 Touring Car and Vaughn GIttin Jr's Ford Mustang V2 "Fun Haver" RS4 Sport 3 Drift for more experienced drivers.

Michele Abbate is famous professional racing star and co-founder of GRRRacing. She was first female driver to earn a podium finish in GT1 category of the SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) National Championship Runoffs.

HPI has done excellent work to capture her GRRRacing TA2 Camaros furious outfit in their E10-platform RC replica. This car is good looking - some suggest that it's even collectible level of good looking - and is easy to control with basic setup so this can be driven at very beginner skills.

Yes, even the transmitter batteries are included in Ford Mustang RTR "Fun Haver V2" RS4 Sport 3 Drift version. This mythical drifting car was built and raced by World Champion Professional Drifter and Mustang icon Vaughn Gittin JR's himself.

RS4 chassis is long trusted and well known touring car platform that played important role to popularize sport of RC Touring back in the 90's. Drift spec version of RS4 Sport 3 is full-time shaft driven 4WD built with heavy duty drivetrain meaning that it is easy to upgrade to next tier with brushless electronics.

Worth to mention is that "RTR" here means also VGJR's own special Ford custom part shop, RTR Vehicles. Go check where Vaughn JR is blasting with his Ultra-4 Off-Road Racer from his IG @vaughngittinjr

Mysterious but Unidentified Collector of Holy Tamiya Kits greeted us with a hot photo of Tamiya Hotshot nostalgia kit! This is how I'd love to spend my sunny summer days too, chillin out and wrenchin up old school Tamiya Legends. Nothing beats that trust me! Thank you "Man from the Shadows", you rock our friend!
