Rear lower suspension arm for XB8 made from super-tough, high-tech composite material. Universal design allows the arm to be used on either left or right sides. XB8 suspension arms are the result of long-term testing of different designs and layouts. Length, thickness, flexibility, geometry of suspension points, and material characteristics… all these aspects and details were thoroughly reviewed and tested to create optimal suspension arms. Based on extensive knowledge gained from previous XB-series cars, several different suspension arm designs were tested in both virtual reality and in-car to determine the best final designs. The exclusive composite mixture used for suspension arms is a perfect balance between reliability and performance. The suspension arm itself is rigid enough to provide a responsive feel, yet soft enough to survive extra-long main events.
