Hey-Yaa! How are those gears grinding? It's Heikki here and I hope they roll smooth because the best days to hobby RC are finally here. Now is the right time to put those last finishing touches for your precious car, truck and rod builds!

The company was founded in 1983 in Beaumont, California, United States and is headquartered there.

Early Years

Pro-Line Racing is one of the Big Names in RC. They have been around since the dawn of the hobby and have slowly but steady grown to be a big player in the game today.

It all started already forty years ago in the year 1982 with a line of Off-Road Racing suited RC tires and wheels. Today it may feel funny but back then there was not too many companies pushing out advanced racing tires and quality wheels for RC cars. Pro-Line Racing was one of the first and they are proud of their legacy.

One big step was taken in 1995 when Pro-Line Racing merged with already famous PROTOform RC body manufacturer. Their On-Road and GT bodies are available still today and are popular especially in more serious and competition levels of the sport.

Giant Steps

Few years back it was a big news that Pro-Line Racing had been "bought off" by Horizon Hobby, one of the RC giants. There was lots of discussion about this in the forums that they are now "going away" or just focusing ARRMA etc etc.

Now, few years later it seems that the worries were nonsense. Pro-Line is still with us, making brilliant products for all of us in the hobby. Actually most of their latest products are for other brands - such as wide selection of No-Prep/Drag Racing stuff that are designed to suit Traxxas 2WD Slash builders. Their innovations and dedication in the crawler tire business cannot be overlooked either.

Pro-Line Racing stands proud with the fact that all their tires and bodies are still Made in USA. They also do good things for the communities all around the world. Pro-Line Racing co-operates and make donations to various charities for better tomorrow through Horizon Hobbies "Hobbies for Good" -program. This is something I want to see here in Europe, too!
