The original Xray XT8 was released 2007, as Xray’s first car for the 1/8 truggy class. The XT8 - 2009 Specs followed in 2009, with Xray then changing to the XT9 name, as that kit was released 2013. The XT8 model name was brought back with the XT8 2017 Specs released in 2017. Since then, the XT8 platform has been further developed and improved, and the XT8.2 was released in 2019.
